Iola Joyce Hazeltine, known as Joyce Hazeltine, (16 July 1935 - 30 September 2016) was an American politician who was Secretary of State of South Dakota from 1987 until 2003.
Hazeltine was born in Pierre on 16 July 1935, and attended Fort Pierre High School.[1] She attained a teaching qualification from Huron College and afterwards went into teaching.[2] In the 1970s, she set up her own business that provided management services.[3]
