Julie Greenwald (born 1970[1]) is an American music industry executive. She served as chairperson and chief executive officer of Atlantic Records Group and Atlantic Music Group.[2]
Greenwald has held senior executive roles at Def Jam Recordings, The Island Def Jam Music Group, and Atlantic Records. She became president of Atlantic Records in 2004 and CEO and chair in October 2022. [2]
Greenwald grew up in the Catskills. She attended Tulane University, graduating in 1992 with a double major in political science and English. She joined Teach for America following her graduation. [3]
