Dr. K. S. Radhakrishnan is an Indian scholar, writer, philosopher, and politician. He is currently the state vice-president of the Bharatiya Janatha Party (BJP) in Kerala.[1][2][3] In March 2024, he was announced as the BJP candidate from the Ernakulam Constituency for the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections.[4][5]
Radhakrishnan formerly served as the Chairman of the Kerala Public Service Commission.[6] Prior to that, he was the Vice Chancellor of Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady from 2004 to 2008.[7]
Born in Ernakulam, he was educated at the Maharaja's College, Ernakulam, receiving his B.A. and M.A. in philosophy.[8] He later obtained a Ph.D. in Advaita Vedanta from Calicut University in 1994.[9]
Radhakrishnan specializes in Advaita System, Gandhian Studies and Philosophy of Science.[10] He was a member of the governing body of Indian Council of Philosophical Research, New Delhi from 2006 to 2009.[11]
