History KMHS returned students to the airwaves in the fall of 2023, after taking them off air during the pandemic. On January 10, 2025 KMHS had its first format change since going on air in 2008. KMHS dropped the Top 40 format it had carried in favor of a retro 90's-2K pop music format under their new branding as POP 91.3 - The Bay's 90's & 2K Station. Members of the student management team decided on the format change and moniker prior to the Class of 2024's graduation.
