Kadidiatou Diani (born 1 April 1995) is a French professional footballer who plays as a forward for Women's Super League club London City Lionesses and the France national team.

Club career
OL Lyonnes
On 2 August 2023, Diani was announced at Lyon on a four-year contract.[3] A month later, on 27 September, an investigation was opened against her former coach Didier Ollé-Nicolle, with Diani accusing him of sexual assault.[4]
London City Lionesses
On 15 July 2026, Diani joined Women's Super League club London City Lionesses on a three-year deal, the Lionesses are the first fully independent team to be promoted to the top women's league.[5][6] Both London City Lionesses and her former club Lyon are owned by businesswoman Michelle Kang.[7] The transfer fee was reported to be £500,000.[8]
International career
Diani has played for France at several youth levels, including in the 2012 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup, where she scored four goals and helped her side winning the championship.[9] She also played in the 2014 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup, scoring one goal against New Zealand and helping France to finish in the third place.[9]
Diani was called up to the France squad for the UEFA Women's Euro 2017.[10]
Diani was called up to the France squad for the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup.[11]
On 30 May 2022, Diani was called up to the France squad for the UEFA Women's Euro 2022.[12]
On 24 February 2023, she announced she would no longer play for the national team after captain Wendie Renard said she would step down to save her mental health. Diani said she wanted changes to be made to the way the team was managed.[13]
Diani was called up to the France squad for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.[14] On 2 August 2023, she scored a hat-trick in a 6–3 victory over Panama in the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup last group stage match.[15]
In July 2024, Diani was named in France's squad for the 2024 Olympics.[16]
Personal life
Diani was born in Ivry-sur-Seine, France on 1 April 1995, and is of Malian descent.[17]
Her "adviser", César Mavacala, was a suspect in the Hamraoui case.[18] In February 2022, she caused a controversy with Marie-Antoinette Katoto for her support to Aminata Diallo during a goal celebration for France.[19]
