Kaitlin Quevedo (born 13 February 2006) is a Spanish professional tennis player. She has a career-high singles ranking by the WTA of 94, achieved on 3 August 2026, and a best doubles ranking of No. 708, achieved on 19 June 2023.[2][3]

Early life and background
Quevedo was raised in Naples, Florida. Her father is from Gran Canaria.[4] She attended high school at the Community School of Naples and trained at the Gomez Tennis Academy.[5] She began to compete under the Spanish flag in 2024, training in Barcelona.[1][6]
Career
2021–2023: Girls’ 16 USTA clay champion, top 5
In 2021, she won the United States Tennis Association (USTA) Girls’ 16 National Clay Court Championships singles title.[7]
In June 2023, she reached the top five of the junior world rankings.[8] In 2023, she won the Trofeo Bonfiglio in Milan, and competed in the ITF Junior Masters at the end of the year in Chengdu.
2024: Nationality change
In January, she competed in the Burnie International in Tasmania. In March 2024, Quevedo won her first title under the Spanish flag in Manacor, with a win in the final against Natália Szabanin of Hungary.[1]
2025: W100 title
In April, she reached the final of the W100 Zaragoza Open defeating higher ranked Olivia Gadecki, in straight sets.[9] In the final, she lost to Anastasia Zakharova.[10] That month, she reached the final round of qualifying at the Madrid Open by defeating compatriot Nuria Párrizas, before losing to Anna Blinkova.[11]
On 3 August 2025, she played the final of the ITF World Tennis Tour Gran Canaria against Arantxa Rus of the Netherlands, winning in three sets.[12]
2026: Major, WTA Tour & top 100 debuts
Quevedo made her WTA Tour main-draw debut as a qualifier at the 2026 Auckland Open and defeated eighth seed Peyton Stearns,[13] before losing to fellow qualifier Sofia Costoulas in the second round.[14] She was given a wildcard entry into the Madrid Open and defeated Venus Williams in straight sets,[15] before losing to Hailey Baptiste in her next match.[16] In May, she qualified for the French Open for her major main-draw debut,[17] and defeated wildcard Leolia Jeanjean recording her first match win at a major.[18] However, Quevedo lost to seventh seed Elina Svitolina, in the second round.[19] She made her top 100 debut on 13 July 2026.[20]
