Kambarsky District

Kambarsky District (Russian: Камба́рский райо́н; Udmurt: Камбарка ёрос, Kambarka joros) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the twenty-five in the Udmurt Republic, Russia. It is located in the southeast of the republic. The area of the district is 762.6 square kilometers (294.4 sq mi).[3] Its administrative center is the town of Kambarka.[2] Population: 18,106 (2010 census);[4] 21,243 (2002 Census);[8] 22,680 (1989 Soviet census).[9] The population of Kambarka accounts for 60.9% of the district's total population.[4]
