Kamlesh Kumar Singh (born 1955) is an Indian politician and a two-time member of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly. He represented the Hussainabad (Vidhan Sabha constituency) and served as a Cabinet Minister in the Government of Jharkhand from 2005 to 2009. Originally a leader of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), he officially joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in October 2024.[1]
Kamlesh Kumar Singh was born in 1955 in Kamgarpur village, Hariharganj, Palamu district. His father, Baijnath Prasad Singh, was a prominent figure in the region. Singh completed his higher education at Deoghar Vidhyapith, earning a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in 1977.[2]
