Karan (Russian: Каран; Bashkir: Ҡаран, Qaran) is a rural locality (a village) and the administrative centre of Meleuzovsky Selsoviet, Meleuzovsky District, Bashkortostan, Russia. The population was 377 as of 2010.[2] There are 7 streets.
