Karolew [kaˈrɔlɛf] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Aleksandrów Łódzki, within Zgierz County, Łódź Voivodeship, in central Poland.[1] It lies approximately 7 km (4 mi) north-west of Aleksandrów Łódzki, 13 km (8 mi) west of Zgierz, and 19 km (12 mi) north-west of the regional capital Łódź.
