Kathy Starr (born June 8, 1936) is an American retired professional wrestler who worked in Kansas City, Calgary, and Hawaii during the 1950s and 1960s.[2]
Starr made her wrestling debut in her hometown of Phoenix in 1953. Early in her career, she worked in Chicago and the Midwest. In 1957, she made her debut in Kansas City for Central States Wrestling where she became a household name and won their version of the women's title in 1964.
In 1959, Starr made her debut in Calgary, Alberta, for Stampede Wrestling where she feuded Kay Noble and Millie Stafford. In 1961 she teamed up with Lorianne Johnson as the Bikini Honey Blondes.
In 1961, she made he debut in Hawaii for 50th State Big Time Wrestling. On October 4, 1961 she won NWA United States Women's Championship when she defeated Judy Glover. It is unknown how long she was the champion. Either remained the champion or won the title in Honolulu, HI as of July 18, 1965. Starr was also billed as American champion in San Bernardino, CA on April 16, 1966. Starr was also either remained the champion or won the title in Honolulu, HI on September 21, 1966 or August 10, 1967.[3]
On August 9, 1967, she was in the main event when she retained the Women's United States Championship against Jessica Rogers in a 2/3 Falls match.[4] She left Hawaii in 1968.
In 1973, she retired from wrestling.
