Kefense Hynson (born c.1980) is an American college football coach who most recently served as the passing game coordinator for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). He previously served as the wide receivers coach & pass game coordinator for the Oregon State Beavers and was the interim head football coach for the team's bowl game during the 2023 season. He also coached for Willamette, Quincy, Boise State, Minnesota State, Western Washington, Yale, Montana, Norfolk State, and Hawaii. He played college football as a defensive back for Willamette.[1]

Yale

Hynson spent the 2009 to 2011 seasons as the co-offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach at Yale.[2]

Montana

On June 29, 2012, Hynson joined Montana under the roles of special teams coordinator and tight ends coach. [3] He was promoted to co-offensive coordinator in 2013, and shed the role of tight ends coach.[4]

Norfolk State

On May 21, 2015, Norfolk State hired Hynson as their wide receivers coach.[5][6]

Hawaii

On December 30, 2015, Hynson was hired to serve as the wide receivers coach for the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors.[7][8]

Oregon State

Hynson previously served as the wide receivers coach & pass game coordinator for the Oregon State Beavers and was the interim head football coach for the team's bowl game during the 2023 season.[9][10][11][12][13]

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

On February 3, 2025, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers hired Hynson to serve as their pass game coordinator.[14]
