Kelantan City Football Club, simply known as the Kelantan City, formerly known as Wan Tendong Stable, is a Malaysian football club based in Pasir Mas, Kelantan. They are playing in the second division of the Malaysian football, the Malaysia A1 Semi-Pro League, after promotion from the Malaysia A2 Amateur League.[1]

History
Formation and early years
Founded in 2014, as Wan Tendong Stable made their club debut into Malaysian Football League by joining the third-tier Malaysia M4 League and finished in quarter-final stage, losing to Machan.[2][3] On 6 December 2024, WTS advanced to the league final, but lost to Guar Syed Alwi 4–2 in a penalty shoot-out.[4][5] The club also promoted to the second tier of the Malaysian league after finishing the 2024–25 Malaysia A2 Amateur League as runner-ups, playing their first season in the 2025–26 Malaysia A1 Semi-Pro League.
2026 Takeover and Rebranding
In May 2026, the "Ex-Treble Kelantan 2012" consortium of former Kelantan FA players acquired an 80% stake in WTS FC, bypassing Kelantan Red Warrior FC (KRW FC) to reconnect with alienated fans and partners following controversies surrounding the TRW brand.[6][7] Led by former national players including Mohd Badhri Radzi, Nor Farhan Muhammad, Zairul Fitree Ishak, and Daudsu Jamaluddin, the takeover aimed to restore the integrity of football administration in the state.[7] On June 19, 2026, the club was officially rebranded as Kelantan City FC and Brazilian manager Wanderley Machado was appointed as the head coach for the 2026/2027 season.[8]
