Kevin Cristopher Ramírez (born 30 December 1999) is an Argentine professional boxer who competes in the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions. He won the heavyweight division of the Riyadh Season WBC Boxing Grand Prix in 2025.[1][2]
WBC Boxing Grand Prix
Ramírez turned professional in 2022 and began his career boxing mainly at cruiserweight in Argentina[3]. In his early fights, he boxed in four- and six-round bouts, picking up decision wins and stoppage victories. He also had several close fights, including a draw in 2022[4]. In 2024, Ramírez moved up to heavyweight[5].
In 2025, Ramírez entered the Riyadh Season WBC Boxing Grand Prix heavyweight tournament in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
In the round of 32, he defeated Brian Zwart by KO in the first round[6]. In the round of 16, he beat Reagan Apanu by unanimous decision[7], with Apanu scoring a knockdown during the fight. In the quarterfinals, Ramírez fought Piotr Lacz to a split draw and advanced through the WBC enhanced scoring system[8].
Ramírez reached the final after defeating Dante Stone by split decision in the semifinals, scoring a knockdown in the first round. In the final on 20 December 2025[9], he defeated Ahmed Krnjić by unanimous decision over eight rounds to win the heavyweight division of the Riyadh Season WBC Boxing Grand Prix[10][11].
