Keyon Shontel Whiteside (born January 31, 1980) is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Tennessee Volunteers and was selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the fifth round of the 2003 NFL draft.
Whiteside participated in football, basketball and track at Chase High School in Forest City, North Carolina. He was inducted into the Rutherford County Sports Hall of Fame in 2018.[1]
He played college football at the University of Tennessee from 1998 to 2002.[1] He was redshirted in 1998, and was part of the Volunteers team that won the 1998 national championship.[1][2]
