Khuwahish (Urdu: خواہِش, lit. 'Wish') is a 1993 Pakistani television series written by Asghar Nadeem Syed and directed and produced by Rashid Dar.[2][3]
Nafeesa Begum, a wealthy widow, feels suffocated by her life. Despite her riches, she's lonely and longing for connection. Meanwhile, Khushi Muhammad, a struggling truck driver, is striving to provide for his family with honesty and integrity. Nafeesa's desires are at odds with the expectations around her, while Khushi's story highlights the daily struggles of Pakistan's middle and lower classes. The series dives into the complexities of relationships and social pressures in these communities.[3]
