Khwaja Haleem (28 July 1944 – 15 February 2018) was an Indian politician.
Khwaja Haleem was born into a prominent family. His uncle, Jamal Khwaja was a Member of Parliament.[1] He completed his master's degree from the Aligarh Muslim University in 1969.[2]
Career
He started his career with the Indian Youth Congress. He joined the Lok Dal and was elected as a Member of Legislative Assembly in 1980 from Aligarh. He was a founding member of Samajwadi party.[3]
In 1994, he was appointed a Member of Legislative Council. In 2012, he was expelled from the Samajwadi party.[1][4]
