Kickstart FC

Kickstart Football Club is an Indian professional football club from Karnataka. Their women's team participate in Indian Women's League and the men's side competes in the BDFA Super Division.[2][3] The club was nominated for I-League 2 in 2019 and 2021 but didn't make it to the final list approved by the AIFF.[4]

History
Kickstart FC was founded on 9 July 2016 by Shekar Rajan and Laxman Bhattarai to develop grassroot level football in Karnataka. In 2019–20 Santosh Trophy, 10 players from Kickstart FC played for senior state team of Karnataka, the most of any football club in India.[citation needed] In 2020–21 and 2021–22 season, Kickstart were the runners up of BDFA Super Division and were nominated for 2nd Division I-League.[citation needed] In 2023, the club participated in Stafford Challenge Cup.[5]
Later in 2023, the club secured participation in the newly formed I-League 3.[6]
