Kongen af Danmark was a Chinaman of the Danish Asiatic Company. It was the first ship constructed at the company's own shipyard.
Kongen af Danmark was constructed by master shipbuilder K. Benstrup at Asiatisk Plads. It was launched in January 1735.[1]
Kongen af Danmark was 125 feet (38 m) long, with a beam of 33 feet (10 m). Her complement was 141 men. Its armament was 36 guns.[2]
