Konstantinos Papathanassiou from the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Wessling, Germany was named Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in 2014[1] for contributions to polarimetric interferometry for synthetic aperture radar.
