Koordersiella is a genus of fungi in the class Dothideomycetes. The relationship of this taxon to other taxa within the class is unknown (incertae sedis).[2]
The genus name of Koordersiella is in honour of Sijfert Hendrik Koorders (1863–1919), who was a Dutch botanist.[3]
The genus was circumscribed by Franz Xaver Rudolf von Höhnel in Sitzungsber. Kaiserl. Akad. Wiss., Math.-Naturwiss. Cl. Abt. vol.1 on pages 118 and 833 in 1909.
