Kranichfeld (German pronunciation: [ˈkʁaːnɪçˌfɛlt] ⓘ) is a town in the Weimarer Land district, in Thuringia. It is situated on the river Ilm, 18 km southeast of Erfurt, and 16 km southwest of Weimar.
