Krestyakh (Russian: Крестях; Yakut: Кириэстээх, romanized: Kiriesteex) is a rural locality (a selo), the only inhabited locality, and the administrative center of Krestyakhsky Rural Okrug of Suntarsky District in the Sakha Republic, Russia, located 93 kilometers (58 mi) from Suntar, the administrative center of the district.[1] Its population as of the 2010 Census was 882,[2][3] down from 1,098 recorded during the 2002 Census.[1]
