Kunishirō Hayashi

Kunishirō Hayashi (林 邦史朗, Hayashi Kunishirō; 1 January 1939 – 29 October 2015) was a Japanese actor, action director, martial artist and sword fight arranger.[1][2][3] He served as a sword fight arranger in almost all of the Taiga drama series on NHK in his lifetime.[4][5][6] In 1963, he founded stunt performers production company Wakakoma action club.[7]

His final appearance as an actor was in the 2016 Taiga drama series Sanada Maru, he played the role of Takeda Shingen.[8][9][10] He was posthumously awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 4th Japan Action Awards.[11]
