Kyra (Russian: Кыра) is a rural locality (a selo) and the administrative center of Kyrinsky District of Zabaykalsky Krai, Russia. Population: 4,563(2010 census);[1] 4,654(2002 census);[4] 5,101(1989 Soviet census).[5]

The village is located in the area of the Khentei-Daur Highlands on the left bank of the Kyra River, near the Russian-Mongolian border.[6]
