Laide Daramola (born December 25, 1981), also known as Lady Laide, is a Nigerian-American filmmaker, screenwriter, and TV Producer.[1][2]

Early life and education
Laide was born in Baltimore, Maryland.[3] She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Middlesex University and a master's degree in Business administration from the University of Maryland.[3] She obtained a certificate in Non-profit Management & Leadership from Harvard University.[3]
Career
Laide works in the film industry as a filmmaker, screenwriter, and TV Producer.[4] She is the founder of Lady Laide Group and Lady Laide Films.[5] She is the executive producer of the film Hotel Labamba, on Amazon Prime Video.[6][7][8][9] She has other feature-length films still in the production stages.[10][11][12] She is also the filmmaker behind the anticipated film Aso Ebi Diaries.[13][14]
Laide is also an international speaker.[15] She has spoken in churches, conferences, and panels on entrepreneurship, women & girl empowerment, leadership, and other topics.[16]

Awards
- 2023 - Hotel Labamba won the Best Comedy Friction Film award at the 2023 Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival (TINFF).[18]
Philanthropy
Laide is a co-founder of Master’s Touch (MsT), a US-based humanitarian organisation that spreads love to hospitals and orphanages.[19] Among her other philanthropic initiatives include the Toys for Lagos project and the distribution of blankets to newborns and children in orphanages and hospitals.[20][21]
