Lake Toccoa is a reservoir in the U.S. state of Georgia, Stephens County, in the city of Toccoa.^[1]

Toccoa comes from the Cherokee word Ꮤꮖꭿ "Tagwâ′hĭ," meaning "Catawba place"^[2] or "beautiful".^[3]
