Lakshmi is a 2024 Indian television Tamil-language The series premiered on 18 March 2024 airing from Monday to Saturday on Sun TV and is also available on the digital platform Sun NXT.[2] It stars Madhumitha Hirannaiah and SSR Aaryann[3].[4]

Production
Casting
Actress Shruthi Raj[5] was cast in the female lead role of Mahalakshmi, marking her return after Thalattu. Actor Sanjeev Venkat was cast in the male lead role of Selvam. He was replaced by actor SSR Aryan[3] Actress Sruthi Shanmuga Priya was cast as Viji.[6][7]
Release
The first promo was released on 1 March 2024 featuring all of the main cast.[8] The show debuted on Sun TV on 18 March 2023, taking Aruvi's time slot.[9]
Soundtrack
Playback and Carnatic singer, Saindhavi Prakash, sang the opening theme song track, in her second collaboration with Shruthi Raj, after singing the opening theme of the serial Thalattu.[10]
