Career

2023: WTA Tour, top 200 debuts

Playing for Thailand, Tararudee has accumulated a win–loss record of 3–0.[4] Tararudee won the first ITF title in her career at the $40k tournament in Nonthaburi, Thailand defeating compatriot Mananchaya Sawangkaew in the final in three sets.[5]

Tararudee made her WTA Tour main-draw debut at the 2023 Thailand Open, where she received a wildcard into the singles tournament,[6][7] losing to Mirjam Bjorklund in the first round.[8] She reached the top 200 in the singles rankings on 20 May 2024 and the top 175 on 29 July 2024.[2]

Tararudee also received wildcards for both editions of the home tournament in Hua Hin, the 2024 Thailand Open and the 2024 Thailand Open 2 held in January and September 2024 respectively. At the latter, she recorded her first WTA tour-level win as a wildcard over compatriot and fellow wildcard Thasaporn Naklo.[9][10]

2025: WTA 125 final

In April, Lanlana represented Thailand at the Billie Jean King Cup for the first time since 2022. She participated in 4 matches, with 2 wins and 2 loses record.[11]

In July, Tararudee reached her very first WTA 125 final at 2025 Porto Open, eventually losing to the third seed Tereza Valentová in straight sets.[12]

2026: Grand Slam breakthroughs, top 100 and WTA 125 titles

Tararudee began the 2026 season at world No. 131 and became the Thai No. 1 in singles in January.[2][13]

At the Australian Open, she was seeded 21st and won three consecutive matches to reach a Grand Slam main draw for the first time.[14] She lost in the first round of the main draw to 21st seed Elise Mertens.[15]

In March, Tararudee won her first WTA 125 title at the Austin Challenger, defeating former US Open champion Bianca Andreescu in three sets in the final.[16] She entered the top 100 for the first time on 4 May, at world No. 99.[17]

At the Wimbledon Championships, Tararudee recorded her first Grand Slam main-draw victory by defeating Lilli Tagger in three sets.[18] Her victory, alongside compatriot Mananchaya Sawangkaew's first-round win, marked the first time in the Open Era that two Thai players won Grand Slam main-draw matches at the same tournament.[19] She was eliminated in the second round by 18th seed Ekaterina Alexandrova.[20]

The following month, Tararudee claimed her second WTA 125 title at the ENKA Ladies Open in Istanbul, defeating Hanne Vandewinkel in three sets in the final.[21]

At the US Open, she defeated qualifier Elvina Kalieva in three sets in the first round, recording the second Grand Slam main-draw victory of her career.[22]
