Lashana Lynch

Lynch was born on 27 November 1987^[1] in Shepherd's Bush, London.^[2][3][4] She is of Jamaican descent.^[5] She attended Twyford CofE High School and ArtsEd drama school in London.^[6]

In March 2018, Lynch was reported to have replaced DeWanda Wise for a role in then-upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film Captain Marvel opposite Brie Larson and Samuel L.
