Lasiurus is a genus of Asian and African plants in the grass family, Poaceae,[2] found primarily in arid regions.[3][4] The only known species is Lasiurus scindicus, native to drier regions of northern Africa and southwestern Asia, from Mali, Morocco, and the Levant, all the way to India.[1][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][excessive citations]
