Lataxiena is a genus of sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks in the family Muricidae, the murex snails or rock snails.[1]
Lataxiena lataxiena Jousseaume, 1883 is the type species by tautonomy (= Trophon fimbriatus Hinds, 1844).
