Laura, Missouri From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Unincorporated community in Missouri, U.S. Laura is an unincorporated community in Lewis County, in the U.S. state of Missouri.[1] Laura was laid out in 1893.[1] A post office called Laura was established in 1892, and remained in operation until 1902.[2] The identity of Laura's namesake has been lost to history.[3] References 1 2 U.S. Geological Survey Geographic Names Information System: Laura ↑ "Post Offices".
