Leon Sylvanus Baptiste (born 23 May 1985) is an English former sprint runner who specialised in the 100 metres and 200 metres events. He became the 100 m European junior champion in 2004 and won his first major title six years later by taking the 200 m gold medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games held in Delhi. He competes domestically for Enfield and Haringey Athletic Club[2] and was coached by Michael Khmel at Loughborough University.[3]
