Leonard Steinman

Leonard J. Steinman II (1952 - August 5, 2023) was an American perennial candidate from Jefferson City, Missouri.[1]
Steinman was born in Jefferson City,[2] and graduated from Jefferson City High School. Steinman attended classes at Columbia College.[3] He served for four years in the U.S. Navy from 1971 to 1975.[4] He worked as a long-haul truck driver.[5] Steinman's wife Velma has also run for office several times.[6]
Steinman died on August 5, 2023 at age 71.[7]

Steinman frequently ran for office in Missouri, campaigning in hand-painted vans.[8]
