Leporinus arimaspi is a species of freshwater ray-finned fish belonging to the family Anostomidae, the toothed headstanders. It is widely found throughout the Orinoco River drainage in Venezuela, including the tributaries Caura, Pamoni, Casiquiare, Manapiare, and Ventuari.[2]
