Les Bottereaux

Commune in Normandy, France From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Les Bottereaux (French pronunciation: [le bɔtʁo]) is a commune in the Eure department in Normandy in northern France. The Anglo-Norman family of the Barons Botreaux probably originated here. A possible translation of the name is "the toads",[3] but it is more likely derived from boutière, meaning "extremity of a piece of land".[4]
