Li Xiangfu (Chinese: 李相符; 1907 – October 20, 1963), courtesy name Li Shiyu (Chinese: 士腴) and pseudonym Lin Zhong (Chinese: 林中), was a Chinese forestry scientist, educator, and political activist from Zongyang County in present-day Tongling, Anhui. He participated in the founding political institutions of the People's Republic of China and was a delegate to the first plenary session of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference in 1949, later serving as a member of the first and second CPPCC National Committees. After 1949 he held several important positions in China's forestry and academic sectors, including vice minister of the Ministry of Forestry and Land Reclamation, president of the Beijing Forestry College, vice president of the Chinese Academy of Forestry, and president of the Chinese Society of Forestry.[1]
