Linda Ann Pondexter Chesterfield (born September 13, 1947, in Hope, Arkansas)[2] is an American politician and a Democratic member of the Arkansas Senate for District 12, a position that she has held since January 14, 2013 since she started in District 30 before redistricting changed her district. Chesterfield served consecutively in the Arkansas General Assembly from January 2011 until January 2013 in the Senate District 34 seat and non-consecutively from January 2003 until January 2009 in the Arkansas House of Representatives District 36 seat.

Chesterfield graduated from Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas, in 1965 and was the college's first African-American graduate.[3]
