Lisa Emelia Svensson is a Swedish diplomat and works with environmental and digital policies.
Svensson was appointed to be the Minister Counsellor at the Permanent Mission of Sweden in Geneva. In 2016, she joined the UN Environment Programme, as Chief of the Marine Branch. She was previously her country's Ambassador for Ocean and Water. In 2010, she became Sweden´s Ambassador for Corporate Social Responsibility.
Lisa Emelia Svensson grew up in Bohuslän, on Sweden's west coast. She attended LM Engström Gymnasium[1] before studying at the University of Gothenburg School of Business, Economics and Law where she earned a Master of Science in Political Economy. In 2008, she completed a PhD in political economy at the same institution, with research focusing on government strategies for economic growth.[2][3][4]
