Assamese cinema, also known as Jollywood, refers to the film industry based in the Indian state of Assam, producing films primarily in the Assamese language. In 2021, Assamese film production and releases were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic; however, several films were completed, certified, and released through theatrical and digital platforms.
