This is an incomplete list of livestreamed suicides. Livestreamed suicide is an internet phenomenon where an individual broadcasts their suicide in real time via social media or video platforms.[1]

  • October 11 — A 21-year-old autistic man, Marcus James, hanged himself in his apartment during a livestream in Sweden.[7][8]
  • November 9 — A 24-year-old man livestreamed his own hanging on Ustream in Sendai, Miyagi, Japan.[9]

  • November 24 — A 14-year-old Japanese junior high school student, under the pseudonym Rorochan_1999 (Japanese: ろろちゃん), jumped from the 13th floor in Ōmihachiman, Shiga Prefecture, Japan, whilst live on FC2.[11][12] She had previously stated her intent, on 2chan, that she "want[ed] to do a suicide stream."[13]

  • May 10 — A 19-year-old who called herself Océane, threw herself under a train in Égly, France, during a Periscope livestream.[14]
  • October 26 — 22-year-old Roengkhetkan Saharat fatally shot himself in the head on a Facebook livestream in Kamphaeng Phet, Thailand. Before the livestream, he faced a large amount of debt due to his gambling.[15][16]
  • December 30 — 12-year-old Katelyn Nicole Davis died by suicide during a livestream on Live.me in United States. In a 40-minute live broadcast, the girl said that she had been sexually abused by a family member.[17]

  • October 17 — An 18-year-old student, Gleb Korablev, fatally shot himself in the head with a Saiga-12K on a VKontakte livestream in Moscow, Russia. The footage of his suicide was then uploaded to YouTube under "1444" 2 days later. The video was up for 3 days before being taken down.[19][unreliable source?]

  • October 2 — In the afternoon, two teenagers, 17-year-old Victoria and 18-year-old Vladimir, jumped from the 24th floor in Kyiv, Ukraine. The teenagers broadcast their suicide on TikTok. Before committing suicide, they posted several dozen videos on their Telegram channel.[21]

  • August 5 — 25-year-old Mina Chan, a Japanese influencer, died by suicide during a livestream in Seoul, South Korea.[22][23]
