Egypt is one of the oldest civilizations in the world.[1] Therefore, it has been in contact with many other civilizations and nations, and has gone through many eras, from prehistoric times to the modern era, passing through many eras such as: Egyptian, Roman, Greek, Islamic, and many others.[2] As a result of this wide historical diversity and continuous contact with other countries, Egypt has many museums that cover a wide range of these eras.[3][4]
