Liz Perle

Liz Perle (April 13, 1956 – August 20, 2015) was an American publishing executive, writer, and co-founder and editor-in-chief of the nonprofit Common Sense Media.[1]
Elizabeth Ann Perle was born in Manhattan, New York on April 13, 1956. Her parents were E. Gabriel Perle and Ellen Kraus Perle. They lived in Rowayton, Connecticut until her mother died of breast cancer when Liz was eight years old.[1] She and her father then moved to Manhattan and went to school in the Bronx at Riverdale Country School. She graduated with a bachelor's degree from Yale University in 1977, after transferring from Hampshire College.[1]
