Types
Loop Experience were launched in 2018[2] are designed for concerts, festivals, and other loud spaces.[3] Loop Engage block out background noise but allow voices to remain clear,[4] and are intended for loud social places such as restaurants.[5] Loop Quiet are made to block out as general sound.[4] Loop Switch allow the user to change between Quiet, Engage, and Experience modes.[6] Loop Dream are designed for sleeping.[7]
Loop earplugs have been designed in limited edition colours as part of collaborations, sincluding with the McLaren Formula 1 Team,[8] Coachella,[9] and Tomorrowland.[10]
Reception
Loop earplugs have been praised for their function,[11] range of colours,[2] and ability to stay in place[12] but some users find them uncomfortable.[13] They have been particularly praised by the neurodivergent community and people with sensory processing disorders.[14][15]
