Early life and education
Belsten was born and raised in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. She attended Flinders Christian Community College from 2005 to 2010. During her school years, she kept her interest in video games largely private from her peers. She has described herself as an introvert while growing up and said that the solitary nature of gaming suited her personality. She has also credited her brother as an important influence and supporter during her childhood.[5]
During her ninth and tenth years of school, Belsten has recalled going through a rebellious period in which she frequently skipped school and disliked what she described as the school's popular students. She later discussed these experiences on the podcast All In.[6]
In 2011, Belsten began studying journalism at RMIT University in Melbourne. She began creating online content and streaming in 2013 during her final year of university. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in journalism, her online career grew sufficiently for her to pursue streaming and content creation as a full-time career rather than entering the traditional journalism and media industry.[7]
Career
2013–2017: Early career and Overwatch
Belsten began creating online content in 2013 while studying journalism at RMIT University. She created her Twitch account in March 2013 and initially streamed League of Legends, often to audiences of fewer than ten viewers.[8] She also established her YouTube channel in 2013, uploading her first video, I Hate The Meta legal Legends, on 28 May. Her early videos primarily consisted of comedic and satirical League of Legends content alongside lifestyle and vlog material.[9]
Belsten gradually expanded her gaming content and began streaming Overwatch following its release in 2016. Her Overwatch videos contributed to the growth of her YouTube channel, which reached 100,000 subscribers in 2016. She continued streaming regularly while experimenting with different games and content formats. In late 2017, she began playing Fortnite, which subsequently became the primary focus of her gaming content.[10]
2017–2019: Fortnite and rise to prominence
Belsten's transition to Fortnite coincided with the game's rapid growth and led to a significant increase in her online audience. She began regularly producing Fortnite videos and livestreams, with her 2018 content including videos documenting stream sniping that attracted millions of views. Her YouTube channel reached one million subscribers during 2018, while her Twitch following also grew substantially.[citation needed]
As her popularity increased, Belsten collaborated with other prominent gaming and streaming personalities, including Ninja, Pokimane and Valkyrae. She also became a member of the Australian creator collective Click, alongside creators including Muselk, LazarBeam, Crayator, BazzaGazza and Marcus.
In 2019, Belsten participated in a number of Fortnite creator and competitive events, including the Fortnite World Cup Pro-Am. She also competed in the Sky Station Showdown alongside Jordan Fisher and CouRageJD, with the trio winning the competition. Her continued involvement in Fortnite events and collaborations further established her as a prominent gaming creator.
2020–present: Icon Series and expansion
In 2020, Belsten became the second creator to receive a dedicated cosmetic set through Fortnite's Icon Series. The Loserfruit set was released in the Fortnite Item Shop on 21 June and included the Loserfruit outfit, Buddy Bag back bling and Fruit Punchers pickaxe. The release followed a livestream reveal in which Belsten reacted to the announcement of her in-game character.
That year, Belsten also organised and hosted a 36-hour livestream following the 2019–20 Australian bushfire season. The fundraiser raised more than A$318,000 for Australian bushfire relief efforts.[11]
During the following years, Belsten expanded her content beyond Fortnite and traditional gaming livestreams. She produced content featuring games such as Minecraft, Among Us, Valorant, Apex Legends and The Sims, while also producing vlogs, challenges, travel videos and other lifestyle content. She maintained additional YouTube channels, including Lufu, which focused primarily on vlogs and lifestyle material.
Belsten also expanded into other forms of media and commercial work. She provided voice acting for the animated web series Meta Runner, produced by Glitch Productions, and continued to appear at gaming and creator events. She developed commercial partnerships with companies including E.l.f. Cosmetics and Gymshark, while continuing her relationship with Epic Games through Fortnite creator activities.[12][13]
Other ventures
Belsten has developed commercial activities alongside her streaming and video career, including merchandise, brand partnerships and collaborations with companies outside the gaming industry. She has released official merchandise associated with her online brands, featuring fruit-themed designs and the Lufu branding. Belsten was a member of Click, an Australian content creator collective that included LazarBeam, Muselk, Crayator, Bazza Gazza and Tannar. The group produced collaborative gaming and entertainment content. She has also maintained multiple online channels, including her main Loserfruit channel and Lufu, which has focused on vlogs and lifestyle content.[citation needed]
Belsten has worked with a number of commercial brands. In 2020, she partnered with E.l.f. Cosmetics as part of the company's efforts to reach gaming audiences.[14] In August 2023, the partnership was expanded through the limited-edition Berry Hot Drop collection, which included an eyeshadow palette, lip product and strawberry-themed makeup sponge.[15] She has also partnered with fitness apparel company Gymshark, incorporating the brand into her lifestyle and fitness-related content.[16]
Her relationship with Epic Games has included Fortnite creator activities, promotional events and her inclusion in the game's Icon Series. She has also participated in promotional campaigns involving LEGO, including content associated with Lego Fortnite. Outside of gaming and commercial work, Belsten has made media appearances and undertaken work in other forms of entertainment. She provided voice acting for the Australian animated web series Meta Runner, produced by Glitch Productions. She has also appeared at gaming and creator events, including Fortnite competitions, promotional events and TwitchCon appearances.
Belsten has also participated in charitable fundraising throughout her career. In January 2020, following the 2019–20 Australian bushfire season, she hosted a 36-hour livestream to raise money for Australian bushfire relief. The fundraiser raised more than A$318,000.[17] She has subsequently taken part in other fundraising campaigns and charitable events through livestreams and collaborations with fellow creators.
Personal life
Belsten is married to her longtime partner, Marcus, also known as Prestige Clips. The couple announced their engagement in August 2025 and married in December 2025. Belsten has primarily lived and worked in Melbourne, Victoria, throughout her career. Earlier in her career, she lived in a shared content creator house in Melbourne with members of Click. Their wedding was documented in a video titled We Got Married.[18][19] Marcus has frequently appeared alongside Belsten in her online content, including challenge and lifestyle videos. On 12 September 2026, Belsten announced during a Twitch livestream that she was six months pregnant with a daughter and was expecting to give birth in December 2026.
Public image
Belsten has developed a large following across Twitch, YouTube, TikTok and other social media platforms, and has been described as one of the prominent female gaming creators in the industry.[20][21] Her content and interviews have also addressed her experiences as a woman working in the predominantly male gaming and streaming industry, including discussions of online harassment and the challenges faced by female creators.[22][23]
Belsten has also expanded her public profile beyond gaming through partnerships with companies including E.l.f. Cosmetics and Gymshark. Her work with E.l.f. Cosmetics, in particular, brought her gaming audience into the beauty industry and contributed to her profile among younger digital audiences.[24][25]
As an Australian creator based in Melbourne, Belsten has represented Australia at international gaming events and has participated in events including the Fortnite World Cup and Australian Open Summer Smash.[26]
Her inclusion in the Fortnite Icon Series in 2020 became one of the most notable milestones of her career. She was the second content creator, after Ninja, to receive a dedicated creator outfit in the series and the first woman to do so.[27] The outfit incorporated elements associated with her online identity, including fruit-themed designs and references to her community.
Belsten has also received coverage from mainstream and gaming media for her career and influence as a creator, including appearances discussing the growth of gaming and the creator economy. Her membership of the Australian creator collective Click further contributed to her profile within the Australian online entertainment community.
