Yanong began her modeling career at the young age of seven, gaining early exposure in the fashion industry by appearing in children’s apparel campaigns, most notably for Barbie.[2]These initial experiences helped her develop confidence in front of the camera and an understanding of the demands of modeling at an early stage. At the age of fifteen, Yanong made a notable return to modeling, this time transitioning into more age-appropriate roles by posing for teen-oriented magazines. By 2014, Yanong’s growing experience and dedication led to her becoming a member of the Professional Models Association of the Philippines.[3] This affiliation not only signified her credibility as a professional model but also provided her with greater opportunities, networking connections, and access to high-profile projects within the Philippine fashion scene.
In 2019, Yanong entered the mainstream spotlight when she joined the reality competition show Pinoy Big Brother: Otso as an adult housemate. The show, known for placing contestants under constant surveillance, often amplifies personal interactions, and Yanong quickly became one of its most talked-about participants. During her stay inside the house, her close relationship with fellow housemate Andre Brouilette drew significant public attention, particularly due to moments where the two were seen sharing kisses on camera. These interactions sparked controversy among viewers and former housemates alike. Myrtle Sarrosa publicly criticized the pair, stating that they failed to “set a good example” for the show’s audience, which includes younger viewers.Similarly, Dawn Chang commented that while expressions of affection were normal, the setting in which the kisses occurred made them “inappropriate” in the context of a televised program. Cosmopolitan Philippines' writer Lily Grace Tabanera weighed in on the issue, arguing that much of the backlash directed at Yanong constituted slut-shaming [6] She defended Yanong’s actions as a natural expression of affection and criticized the disproportionate scrutiny placed on her compared to her male counterpart.

Yanong was part of the Filipino action-drama series The Iron Heart, which aired from 2022 to 2023. Her involvement in the series allowed her to further establish her presence in television, particularly within the action-drama genre, as the show gained attention for its high-intensity narrative and production scale.
In September 2024, Yanong received a nomination for Best of the Year Model at the Mega Fashion Awards a recognition that highlighted her growing influence and presence in the Philippine fashion industry.[7] During the same month, Mega Magazine further acknowledged her rising prominence by including her in their list of “Models of the Moment,” underscoring her increasing visibility and demand in the modeling scene.[8]
In October 2024, L'Officiel Philippines recognized her as one of their “Models to Watch Out For” following her appearance on the runway at BYS Fashion Week.[9]
This series of accolades reflected her steady ascent in the fashion industry, positioning her as an emerging figure to watch.
In 2025, Yanong further expanded her presence in the action genre by appearing in the Filipino television series Incognito. Following this role, she continued her involvement in action-oriented projects by joining the cast of another Filipino series, Roja thereby reinforcing her growing prominence in such productions.[10]
