Lukas Mertens (born 22 March 1996) is a German handball player for SC Magdeburg and the German national team.[1]

He participated at the 2022 European Men's Handball Championship.[2] At the 2026 European Men's Handball Championship he won silver medals, losing to Denmark in the final.[3]
