Lyneal Alston (born July 23, 1964) is an American former professional football player who was a wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Southern Miss Golden Eagles[1][2] from 1983 to 1986, with whom he had 64 receptions, 1,261 yards and 10 touchdowns during his career and appeared in the 1986 Senior Bowl.[3] He later the NFL with Pittsburgh.[4][5] He was cut by the Steelers in August 1988.[6]
