Mab Copland Lineman (October 2, 1892 December 26, 1957), LL.B., was an American attorney, noted for her work with business and protective law, commonly known as "Law of Common Things".[1]

Mab Copland Lineman was born in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, on October 2, 1892. Her father was James Copland, her mother was Margaret Macgregor.[2][1][3]

She was educated at Gordon School and Keith, Scotland. She attended Aberdeen College and University of Southern California Law School, graduating in 1918.[2][1][3]
